This conversation is between my friend, syam and his son.(16 yo)

My son came home from college last weekend, cuti hujung minggu kat rumah. I never went to pick him up, wanted him to belajar tak manja. Picked him up kat stesen LRT Wangsa Maju, took him to dinner kat kedai mamak. While waiting for our orders, he asked me:

Son: Abah, nok tanyo siket buleh?
Me: Shoot, jangan banyak sangat, letih ambik Fikri tak abih agi..(psycho dia)
Son: Haha..er…pernah tak abah tak dapat perempuan yang abah nak?
Me: Err, why do you tanya?
Son: Well, ada awek ni kat college, dio nok ko Fikri..
Me: What did you say to her? And why your 1st question as if you yang nak kat dia?
Son: Tok cakap apa-apa pun.
Me: Dia nok for what? bergewe? (bercinta?)
Son: Dio nok jadi girlfren.
Me: Boleh main tak awek ni?

Me: Kalau takleh main, jangan tebeng (jangan cuba). Camni la, kalau boleh tak ber”perempuan”, lagi bagus, sebab nanti terjebak dengan perkara haram. Kalau tak tahan sangat, use protection, pakai condom, jangan get anybody pregnant, and dont catch anything.
Son: Hahahaha..(muka merah padam)

Me: Avoid falling in love maso belajar. Another thing, jangan jadi gay!! Dont fuck with me on this one!! No majerin!! I’ll fuck you up!!

Me: You see, abah tok pandai sangat bab cinta-cinta ni, but to me love is like trust. You cant just trust anyone overnight, not even in a week’s or month’s time. The thing that you feel when you see a girl you like, is our animalistic sense. That’s not love, it’s just attraction. Yes, you may experience love even tengah belajar, but nanti you will lose focus on your studies. Perempuan memang best, memang seronok kalu buleh ado someone kito buleh relate to emotionally and sexually, tapi masa belajor can be dangerous. Kalu dio buat hal, confirm kita sakit otok and sakit jiwa. Kalu dio tok buat hal, konfem kito duk rindu and ashik nok berkepit, in the end, your studies suffer. The best love will come after you live with each other and see banyok mano she is willing to sacrifice for the both of you, her efforts in making you happy and vice versa. You will began to appreciate her, and that appreciation will then turn into a very very deep love, true love, and if you’re lucky you’ll discover that she’s your soulmate.
Son: So attraction is lust?
Me: Attraction can be lust, can be love. Lust is when you look at a girl and you imagine ur self being naked with her. Love, peringkat demo budok-budok ni, is when you look at her, you feel like holding her hands, picturing the both of you berjalan kat tepi tasik, or lagi teruk berjoget macam cita Hindustan. Abah pun bukan reti sangat, but dont fuck up your studies because you cant handle your emotions. One more thing, dont ever trade love with lust.

me: You tell her that you love her just to get her into bed, or romen, or whatever. And no raping either.

Me: So, sejauh mano have you been with a girl?
